Here, you can launch invasions, defend towns, embark on group-based Dungeon adventures, farm and craft to aid the ongoing war effort, and establish bases to protect territories within regions. Additionally, players can capture Chudolz pets for thrilling pet battles against other players. The world map is comprised of regions that must be conquered to secure victory in the 'World Conquest' game mode. Every region can host hundreds of players, leading to intense and epic battles that will undoubtedly provide unforgettable Souvenirs.

To secure victory in the world conquest game mode, one of the two factions will have to capture and control a certain amount of headquarters bases located inside each region.

Gameplay & Classes

Planet Warz 5000 revolves around tactical combat, where skill and strategy outweigh class abilities. The majority of combat relies on fundamental skills like basic attack techniques. Classes are crafted to define player roles during battles, determining survival and finishing abilities. There are 5 jobs to help the ongoing war and 9 classes in total, each equipped with active and passive skills. To access new spells and abilities tied to your weapon class, you will have to wait for the tech tree to unlock them.

Player Progression

In Planet Warz 5000, traditional character levels are replaced with four distinct types of experience: Class experience, Job experience, Loyalty experience, and Season Pass experience. Players earn commend points by performing actions such as defeating enemies, crafting supplies, building, delivering logistics to a base stockpile, or participating in 'Quick Play' matches. These Commend points can then be given to players as a Loyalty experience point as a gesture of recognition for their helpful actions during missions. Class experience is gained by actively using weapons associated with the class, while Season Pass experience is earned through any in-game action.

Technology Tree

At the beginning of each new 'World Conquest,' players are limited to crafting small arms and basic items. As real-time progresses, the Tech Tree and Talent Tree for classes unlock simultaneously for both factions. This includes new vehicles, armors, weapons, class items, abilities, and buildable structures. When one of the factions emerges victorious in the 'World Conquest' mode, the Tech Tree and Talent Tree reset at the beginning of the subsequent war, usually a day later. The pause of one day provides players and regiments with an opportunity to devise new strategies or focus on PvE content during the resistance phase. It takes 1-2 weeks for the Tech Tree to fully unlock, ensuring each day in the game offers unique challenges.

Metagame

The game's meta is shaped by time and player actions. Players must create both short-term and long-term strategies that demand hours or even days of planning. These strategies have the power to turn the tide of a war or a quick play match. The metagame evolves gradually with each passing day as the Technology Tree unlocks, altering the dynamics of attack and defense.

Home Region

Each race has its designated home region within the World Conquest. This territory cannot be captured by enemy factions, serving as a hub for players upon logging in. Here, players can view the World Conquest map in real-time, strategize deployments to assist friendly territories, or practice in the home region using the tutorial area to fully understand all the game's fundamental systems before joining the real war. Additionally, every home region features a production area where players can gather and craft supplies securely, in safety. These crafted supplies can then be delivered to frontline regions to aid the ongoing war effort.

Chudolz Pets Battle

In world conquest mode, players can explore regions and capture fascinating Chudolz Pets, leading to exciting battles against both fellow players and territory leaders. With a diverse array of Chudolz Pets available,
pet battles promise endless excitement and variety.
(Pets Battle is an extra feature we hope to reach during our Kickstarter camping.)

Crafting

Players must gather minerals and refine them to craft essential supplies, such as stones of soul, weapons, ammunition, and vehicles. You'll need to ensure the front-line stockpiles stay well-supplied. In this sandbox war game, every item is crafted by a player. The type of structures in towns will vary according to the race who build the vehicle construction needed to build large structures, as each species has its unique structures, items, weapons, and vehicles. Most of the structure differences only act as reskins with a few exceptions to maintain uniqueness.

Base Building

Players need to reinforce towns by building defensive structures like automatic turrets, walls, radar installations, and spawn bases. These structures will be vital for securing supply routes and moving the frontline closer. Any spawn base can serve as your home, allowing respawn if the required supplies are available inside its stockpile.
Every structure you build makes a difference and contributes to the ever-evolving world.

Casual and competitive game mode

The casual mode is designed for quick play sessions and lasts approximately 15 minutes on smaller maps with unlimited resources. It's perfect for casual players. Players can also opt for the competitive mode, lasting 30 minutes with standard resource rates, tailored from the world conquest and for the e-sports gaming experience. Rewards earned in these modes can be sent to any friendly region with a storage depot, either publicly or privately,
for a limited time.

Dungeons

Instances will require a small squad, dungeons will need a medium-sized squad, and raids will demand a large full squad for completion. To participate, players can interact through 'World Chat' or find nearby players near dungeon entrances. Bosses offer rare transmog (skins) upon defeat, and completing any instance will make you earn basic supplies for the ongoing war effort. Finding dungeons requires exploration in the 'World Conquest' mode.

Regiments & Clans

Embark on a persistent journey across numerous wars, earning renown and influence within your community, faction, and regiments. Interact with fellow players through voice or text chat, undertake missions created by players, and upon completion, earn loyalty experience as a reward. Regiments play a pivotal role, in shaping the game as they collaborate with other regiments to secure victory in the 'World Conquest.' During the end-game phase, teamwork becomes crucial as everyone unites for major raids and instances, providing essential supplies for the ongoing war effort. Additionally, regiments are the most important instrumental in the logistical and territorial defense aspects of the game, they can craft and deliver the supplies to frontline regions to build costly fortifications and defend their positions. Moreover, guilds have the ability to establish their headquarters within the world conquest to show everyone from which side of the world map they will focus on promoting cooperative operations in between regiments nearby.
Collaboration and strategic planning are key to success.

Time Cycle & Weather

Players must strategize considering dynamic battle conditions, including the time cycle and weather hazards. Utilizing terrain features is essential to gain an advantage. In the game, one real-life hour corresponds to one day
in-game, with 40 minutes of daylight and 20 minutes of nighttime.

How Servers Work

Players need to pick a server and create a character by choosing a species from their desired faction. It's important to note that players can't have characters from both factions on a single server. If you wish to switch factions on the same server, you'll have to delete all your characters and wait
until the next war begins on that server.

Safe Mode for Streamer

In this game, understanding your enemy's base layout, defensive structures, and remaining supplies is crucial before launching an attack. Safe Mode for streamers will be highly recommended for live streaming which will provide essential tools to anyone who would like to record or stream their screen.
