To aid their search, the God of Corruption, Silkalek, showed them access to the Dessnet, a massive digital archive where they can now save, protect, and share every piece of knowledge they recover. Even as they serve as loyal soldiers for the Skorde, the Des Orc remain a race without a known origin. They worship the Gods of Corruption with deep devotion, but this faith is a means to an end. Their true mission is not to find a creator, but to locate their ancient home planet. Every battle they fight, and every record they store in the Dessnet is a step toward finding the world they lost long ago.
Military Ranking System: Traditionally, the Des Orc hierarchy was a raw meritocracy based on individual strength and combat contribution points. While they have recently transitioned to the standardized Skorde of Corruption ranking system to ensure military cohesion, they have retained several of their ancestral titles and terminology. This hybrid system serves as a tactical bridge, honoring their martial heritage while satisfying the requirements of their new masters.
Specialization and Weakness: Physiologically adapted for extreme environments, the Des Orc possess a natural resistance to intense heat, allowing them to operate with impunity in volcanic regions and desert wastelands; however, this specialization leaves them significantly vulnerable to freezing conditions. Having lost their technological history, they have been forced to constantly rework and learn new crafting methods. Despite this struggle to reclaim their past, they have become an unstoppable force in construction and engineering. They are renowned for their rapid crafting speed and for deploying the fastest light-armored vehicles in the entire Skorde faction, ensuring they remain the masters of high-speed tactical deployment.
Armors & Weapons Type: Born as living weapons, Des Orc skin is naturally as resilient as reinforced plating. They further enhance this defense by donning Mailnock a treacherous, spiked armor, and wielding shields crafted from the horns of their slain prey. In combat, they favor the raw kinetic force of two-handed battle axes, dual-wielding, or the devastating range of elemental staves. They are the Skorde's premier heavy hitters, specializing in field artillery and the deployment of high-velocity utility vehicles, making them the most aggressive siege force when executing high-speed urban assaults.
